The first contact with paper and coating systems came in 1985, towards the end of the studies in process engineering at the Chemnitz University of Technology.
After that, I worked on an air knife laboratory coating system as a scientific assistant in the R&D department of the company "Polypack" in Dresden.
With the move to Düsseldorf in June 1989, I had the opportunity to gain practical experience with various coating processes and applications worldwide as a commissioning engineer at JAGENBERG AG. .
In the course of more than 10 years with the "JAG Coating Division", I was able to lay the foundation for CW-COATING in various positions.
On behalf of all the supporters from this time, I would like to take this space to thank my mentor, also known as
"Santa Claus" (Heinz Leineweber †).
As a freelance specialist, I was able to expand my activities to involve machine types from various manufacturers.
The particularly interesting challenges included retrofitting projects with used coating heads.
